Do environmentally friendly products really work?
How many times have you bought a product that claims to work, and claims to be better for the environment, but it doesn't do what it claims? I am so frustrated by the amount of money I have wasted on products that don't work! Are you as well?
Bookmark this page, and check back frequently. I will be trying various products to see what works, and what doesn't! We will be including bamboo and other easily sustainable materials.
I will be selling some of the products that pass muster, and some I can simply let you know where you can purchase them. The first product is the perfect shopping bag. This little beauty folds into a small 14 cm L X 11 cm H (5.5 X 4.25") size bag, which is small enough to through into your purse. But when it is open, it is a roomy 41 cm L x 49.5 cm H (16 x 19 1/2½") big. I guarantee you will love this bag!
We now sell Norwex products. Their company mission is to radically reduce the use of chemicals in both cleaning and personal care which will promote health by reducing the risk of poisoning and disease. Currently we sell their Basic Antibac Package.
We now sell a bamboo handled hair brush, Conair® Bamboo Naturals All-Purpose Brush, the handle is made from bamboo, a natural, renewable resource, each boar bristle helps maintain healthy hair and full-body shine.
Eco-Friendly Health and Beauty 101
There
is a high chemical content that is found in most health and beauty care
products. These chemicals can be absorbed by the skin or get washed
down the drain and into our water systems. In fact, a 2007 study
claimed that women absorb an average of 5 pounds of beauty products a
year through their skin and mouths.
The solution is to buy products that are made primarily from organic ingredients. Check out VADA, OnlyGreen's line of organic, vegan, health and beauty care products that are paraben and nanoparticle free.
